TIME TO FLY

After a long cold winter, spring is upon us the wind is blowing the sun is shinning. Time to show everyone your new stuff. Lots of room for ground displays and football goalposts to decorate. Located at Merced  College’s practice football and soccer fields with abundant room to fly that new single, duel or quad kite. This is a non-competitive event but if you would like to fly your new or old routine, demo time will be on the schedule, bring your music and bio-page.

   For the general public there will be clowns, a bounce house, face painting, food venders and kite sales with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Merced. There will be a candy drop and kite academy for the kids. Also a newspaper kite contest sponsored by the Merced Sun-Star. (Looking for volunteers to assist local no-flyers in judging newspaper kite contest)
